Testimonials from Past and Current Patients

Physician's/MD's testimony:

We had undergone multiple unsuccessful IVF cycles to get pregnant.  We finally met Dr. Wang, whose treatments helped me relax.  His dietary recommendations worked in conjunction with my IVF treatment -- and it worked.  I gave birth to a baby daughter.  Thank you, Dr. Wang!

My husband and I had a consultation with Dr. Wang and we just followed his method. It worked. After three months, I got pregnant. Our son is two months old, and is really lovely. The amazing thing is that something so simple and easy which can really make a big difference, yet we do not concern much about it.

We tried IUI five times and I was still not pregnant. My husband is an MD and we were planning to try IVF. Meanwhile, one of our friends suggested we see Dr. Wang. After consultation, he told us that there should not be a problem although the sperm count was low. He told us not to try IVF yet and just follow his method and be patient. After three months, I got pregnant. My husband could not believe it. I gave Dr. Wang a big hug when I went to his office to tell him in person. I am so happy and we really love Dr. Wang.

TWIMC:

For over a year, I suffered on and off from mild ocular myasthenia gravis of the left eyelid, meaning my eyelid could not open all the way and looked droopy all the time.  Myasthenia gravis is an auto-immune disease, and the cause unknown.  When it first occurred, I went to see a neurologist at a highly respectable institution in Manhattan, who kept me under observation throughout this time to monitor my condition.  Starting around March/April 2010, the eyelid became worse and stayed droopy longer than before, at a follow up appointment with the neurologist, he concluded that the condition was not spreading (worse case scenario, it can spread to neck muscles and inhibit proper swallowing as well as breathing), so that is good, but because my condition was fairly mild, limited to just the eyelid, he could not justify offering me a strong medication (with potential negative effects) to try to correct the droopy eyelid problem.  He did however, prescribe a milder medication, but it did not work (as he suspected).  I even had an MRI taken and the results were normal.  As much as he wanted to offer me a cure, the neurologist could not offer me any treatment options to correct the condition.  We could only hope that it would go back to normal on its own.  I was devastated, I didn't want to live with a droopy eyelid, potentially forever.  I did not want to believe that there was nothing I could do, so I kept searching online for any information regarding ocular myasthenia gravis and possible treatments.  I read a few articles that described using acupuncture to treat myasthenia gravis, so I began to search for an acupuncturist to work with.  I went to see 2 other acupuncturists before I went to see Dr. Wang on August 24, 2010.  Even though I knew acupuncture was a possible hope (and I wanted any kind of hope), I was very skeptical.  Being a healthcare professional myself (I'm a dentist) trained in the western frame of thinking, I had great difficulty believing in the eastern medical philosophy.  Nevertheless, I was compliant, this was after all, my last hope.  I followed through Dr. Wang's treatment.  He prescribed a list of foods to avoid, herbal medication, daily herbal steam bath to the eyelid, and acupuncture sessions 3 times a week.  Signs of improvements would happen now and then, the eyelid would fluctuate between showing improvement and drooping again.  Then after 2 and a half months, starting November 2010, the most dramatic improvement happened, the eyelid became 98% normal, in fact, at times you can't even tell the difference between my two eyelids.  I was amazed and so happy.  My eyelid has been stable so far.  I am to keep up the herbal steam baths and will go for maintenance acupuncture treatments periodically.  Thank you Dr. Wang, I am most grateful for your intervention!
